Important Things to Know! 

Requirements to Create Convert Kit Zaps (Add leads, consumers, or affiliates through ConvertKit): 

  • Convert Kit account (Free or paid version) 

  • Zapier Account (Free or the paid version) 

  • ScoreCEO Paid Account with Active Billing (If the billing is not active, the portal will not be connected to Zapier) 

Why are The Subscribers not going through the form or landing page? 

When using the free ConvertKit account make sure to have to make sure you have tick marked the auto-confirmed new subscriber. To do so, follow the following steps: 

  • Go to form settings 

  • Then go to the Incentive 

  • Click on Auto-confirmed new subscriber and make sure it is ticked marked 

Where to Find the API secret in ConvertKit? 

To find the APi secret key in ConvertKit, follow the following steps: 

  • Go to Settings 

  • Then to the Advanced 

  • And you can scroll down a bit to find the API secret key 

How to Get the Zapier API Key from the Score CEO portal? 

To get the Zapier API key follow the following steps: 

  • Login to your ScoreCEO portal 

  • Click on the bubble on the right corner 

  • Go to the Configurations 

  • Then to the Company Portal Profile 

  • Scroll down to the down bottom, and you will find your Zapier API key (Note: make sure you have Zapier enabled in the portal below the API key to create zaps)

Process To Create a Zap (ScoreCEO integration with ConvertKit) 

  1. To create the Zap, login to your Zapier, and Twilio account you created with any email you want to use, doesn’t have to be the one used in the ScoreCEO portal

  1. Click on the left bar, and click on Zaps

  1. Next, click on “Create Zaps”

  1. To create the Zap search for the ConvertKit in the trigger section 

 

  1. Next choose the event you want like form or landing page, here we will be selecting the form  

 

  1. Next, click in Sign in to connect your ConvertKit account with Zapier 

 

  1. To connect the ConvertKit account enter the API secret, on which youConvertKit account is made. 

 

  1. After entering it click on continue 

 

  1. Select the form or landing page you want to use from your ConvertKit account to get the leads. 

 

  1. Next, click on test trigger. select the last entered information in the form to set up the action 

 

  1. After selecting the needed field, click on continue

  1. To set up the Action, search for ScoreCEO in the Action bar and select it 

 

  1. Select the event you want t e.g here we are selecting the “Add New Lead”. And click on continue. 

 

  1. Next, we have to connect our ScoreCEO portal with Zapier, to do so click on “Sign In” 

 

  1. After clicking a pop up will appear where we will enter the Zapier API key and the email used in the ScoreCEO portal. To get the Zapier API key follow the following steps: 

  • Login to your ScoreCEO portal 

  • Click on the bubble on the right corner 

  • GO to the Configurations 

  • Then to the Company Portal Profile 

  • Scroll down to the down bottom, and you will find your Zapier API key 

 

  1. Once you have your information, enter it and click on “Yes, continue” 

 

  1. Once done, your ScoreCEO portal is connected to Zapier 

 
 

  1. Click on continue, and the next step will be to Set up the Trigger. Now, enter the needed information to create a lead in the ScoreCEO. 

 

  1. Once added, click on “Test Trigger” again

  1. And it will show you the information of new consumers you added in the portal, that means that the portal is connected to Zapier and now it can pull its data to trigger any selected action. 

 

  1. And click on test action, once tested and you will have a lead created in the ScoreCEO portal from the ConvertKit form, click on Publish Zap and you are good to go!
