Introduction

Creating and managing invoices is a key part of running a credit repair business—and ScoreCEO makes it fast and easy. Whether you’re billing a client for the first time or creating a recurring invoice, this tutorial will walk you through the steps to generate and send invoices right inside your ScoreCEO dashboard. (This is a manual process, if you wish to set up the automated version set up the customer payment plan and payment settings)


Step-by-Step: How to Create an Invoice in ScoreCEO

✅ Step 1: Open the Invoice Widget

From the left-hand side panel of your ScoreCEO dashboard, click on the Invoice Widget.

✅ Step 2: Click “Create Invoice”

Once inside the widget, click the “Create Invoice” button located in the top-right corner of the screen.


? Note: If you don’t see the customer you’re looking for in the dropdown list, their account might be on hold. You’ll need to remove the hold to continue.

✅ Step 3: Fill Out Invoice Details

Now fill out the key details of the invoice:

  • Customer Name: Select from the dropdown list.

  • Type of Sale: Choose the appropriate sale type.

  • Invoice Date: The date you are generating the invoice.

  • Due Date: When the payment is expected.

  • Next Try Date: For automated retries, if applicable.

  • Payment Method: Select how the customer will pay.

  • Invoice From/To Date: Define the billing period.


✅ Step 4: Choose Additional Options

  • Send Email: Check this box if you want to email the invoice directly to the customer.

  • Mark as Paid: Only check this if the payment was already collected before creating the invoice.


✅ Step 5: Add the Service Plan

  1. In the Description of Service section, select the appropriate plan.

  2. Double-check the price is correct.

  3. Click the plus (+) icon to add the plan to the invoice.



✅ Step 6: Create the Invoice

Once all the information is correct, click “Create Invoice” to generate it.


Optional: Process the Invoice Immediately

If you're ready to collect payment now, you have two options:

  • Process Payment: Manually process the transaction.

  • Auto Process: Set up automated billing on the selected date.
