If you signed up for a Mandrill account on or after December 1st, 2015, you must add SPF and DKIM records and verify ownership of your sending domains before you can send email through your account. Mandrill will not send any email from unverified domains or domains without valid SPF and DKIM records, including public domains like gmail.com, yahoo.com, and more.
Mail sent from unverified domains or domains without valid SPF and DKIM records will be rejected at the time of send, with the reject reason, unsigned.

Domain verification is a required step to confirm ownership of a domain. After you verify a domain in your account, any other Mandrill user that wants to sign with that domain will also need to go through the verification process. If they don't verify the domain, the email will still be delivered, but will be signed with a generic mandrillapp.com signature.
To start domain verification process, click on View Details link for against your added domain.
Please fill your email ID registered with Sending Domain, and click on Send Verification Email Button. Make sure you can receive email on this ID as Mandrill will send you verification email.
You will then receive an email on the given Email Address to verify your domain on Mandrill. Click on Verification Link so that your Domain can be verified.
This will ask you to login, if you are not already logged in. Then it will show you confirmation message.
